About Dilkusha Kothi

Dilkusha Kothi is set amidst lush green, this place was built as a home by British resident Gore Ouseley during the rule of Saadat Ali Khan in the 19th century. This kothi is gothic style and is believed to be the exact replica of an English Country House called Seaton Delavel, built in 1721. This baroque mansion was extensively damaged in the siege of 1857. This place is perfect if you are considering for a spot of quietude, with cast-iron benches dot clean grounds and neat flower beds flank paths. The access to the ruined building is not permitted. One can visit the spot from dawn to dusk on all days, and take a part of history with you.
